who's ready to step up, speak up, and show up -- not just for the young person we support, but for the team around them too.
So... What's the job?
Think of it as part mentor, part manager, part everyday hero. You'll be leading by example -- providing love, structure, and safety to a young person who needs someone they can rely on (yes, even on the tough days). But you'll also be that calm, confident presence for the rest of the team -- guiding, encouraging, and helping them bring their best selves to work too.
What you'll actually be doing:
Leading from the front
-- mentoring, supporting, and inspiring a team of Support Workers to deliver consistently excellent care.
Being a corporate parent
-- the kind who shows up, cares deeply, and always puts the young person first.
Bringing the heart
-- using a trauma-informed approach to build real relationships with young people who've had a tough start.
Managing the messier moments
-- because sometimes things don't go to plan, and you'll be the steady hand guiding everyone through it.
Embedding PLACE values
-- Playfulness, Love, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy -- not just buzzwords, but the way we do lifearound here.
Shaping routines and leading activities
-- from daily structure to spontaneous fun, you'll help make the everyday meaningful.
Being part of the on-call system
-- offering calm guidance and emergency support when needed.
Keeping things compliant
-- supporting the Home Manager with inspections, reports, and all the important behind-the-scenes stuff.
Looking out for everyone's safety
-- always on the ball when it comes to safeguarding and well-being.
Pitching in with admin
-- because yes, even the best care has a paper trail.

You can manage shift patterns, sleep-ins, weekends, and the odd holiday shift like a pro.
You've got a
full UK driving licence
and access to a vehicle (our countryside location loves drivers).
You're not afraid to care -- deeply, wholeheartedly, and consistently.
