A little bit about the role...

Weston Homes is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Surveyor to manage a diverse commercial portfolio spanning from intricate bespoke refurbishment projects to major residential new-build schemes of over 1,000 units across Greater London, Cambridge, and the wider South East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Advise on specification and technical relating to commercial matters Attend Pre-development, Pre-start, Post contract, Design and Project Team meetings as required. Prepare and chair meetings including but not limited to Subcontract and Project Coordination meetings Ensure procurement of subcontractors and materials to programme and budget Ensure subcontractors are approved in accordance with procedures Monitor production of information and advises on financial feasibility of design Monthly production of CostCo Familiar with contract documentation to ensure a working knowledge Management and development of trainee and assistant members of the commercial team

What we'd like in return...

As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience



Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role Bsc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Desirable) RC Frame knowledge adventurous but not essential High level of analytical skills Computer literate Full UK Driving Licence (willingness to travel to variable site locations) CSCS Card
