SSSO STLs play a vital role in ensuring that the officers on their team conduct mobile patrols, thereby ensuring the security and safety of High-Speed Rail 2 (HS2) sites across Phase 1 and Phase 2a, as well as the surrounding areas, as part of a security team.
STLs will play a vital role in ensuring that their Team Leaders are fully trained and supported to carry out their role.
The Team Leaders should work closely with the Area Manager and the WJ management team to ensure the smooth operation of the contract.
About the Role:
As a Security Team Leader! you will be responsible for:
You are responsible for ensuring that all SWPRs are completed for the officers in your team.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all team leaders have completed the SWPRs for their team in line with the new procedure.
Arrangements need to be made to ensure that all team leaders have their SWPRs completed. If you are unable to complete these yourself, then you must reach out to the management team for support.
In a team leader's absence, you must ensure that arrangements are in place for the SWPRs to be completed for that team. If you are unable to complete these yourself, then you must ensure that you reach out to the management team for support.
In the event of long-term sickness absence, you must ensure that all welfare checks are completed and logged.
You support the team leaders with the formal absence management process.
Ensure that all reports of unsafe or careless driving are investigated and the outcome relayed to the management team
Timegate is rotaloaded and updated as necessary.
Ensure that the shifts for the following month have been allocated to ensure that there are no dropped shifts.
Make sure the team leaders have added any new diary events, e.g., training, on Timegate
STLs are to ensure that they have monthly check-ins with their TLs, if not face-to-face, then by email
