Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Solar Team Leader to oversee the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage Renewable Energy Installation contracts across multiple sectors (electrical / Solar PV bias), this includes but not limited to the below: Solar PV Engineer First point of contact for your projects/ team Conduct Surveys/ Material take-offs Installation/ maintenance of renewable energy systems Overseeing/ responsible person on site for deliveries Assist in the preparation of H&S documentation (RAMS) Daily updates to operations internal teams Liaising with Carbon3 design teams in regard to designs etc Management of any defects arising from installations Oversee, train and mentor Apprentices/ trainees Responsible for Van (cleanliness/ reporting defects etc) Responsible for teams site conduct - supervise team Maintain professional attitude at all times to all clients/ staff Ensure team are presentable i.e. uniform/ ID badges etc Maintain diary of daily activities i.e. what has been completed/ what is left to complete/ what materials are required to complete.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Proven previous experience in Solar PV installations

, within commercial environment.

Electrical background or relevant electrical qualifications

(e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) or experience managing teams/installations with electrical components.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification

(if electrically qualified). Strong understanding of renewable technologies including

battery storage systems, EV charging infrastructure

, and decarbonisation measures. Experience with site-based delivery including surveys, RAMS preparation, material take-offs, and procurement. Demonstrable ability to manage and coordinate both direct labour and subcontractors across multiple live projects. Familiarity with commissioning procedures and management of installation defects. Sound knowledge of

Health & Safety

procedures and site compliance. SMSTS, IOSH, or similar site safety training certifications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, colleagues, and delivery teams.
