We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our dynamic team in the care sector. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services in a Domiciliary care setting , ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support and assistance. The Senior Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, implementing care plans, assisting with risk assessments, spot checks, and fostering a positive environment for both our clients and staff.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each client.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care.
Foster effective communication within the team and with clients families to enhance service delivery.
Conduct regular assessments of clients needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate records related to clients care and staff performance.
Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion within the home care environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Drive initiatives aimed at improving service quality and resident satisfaction.
Skills
At least an NVQ level 3 and Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or senior care setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
Proficiency in IT systems related to care management and documentation.
A valid driving licence is required
