About the role
As the Senior Technicianfor Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you willyou will be a multi-skilled operative confident in delivering, collecting, and installing a wide range of equipment. You will also be fully trained in minor adaptations and permanent fixings, including:
Simple handrails
Complex "mopstick" handrails
Various other fixings requiring drilling and secure installation
You will support frontline operations while also helping to train, mentor, and develop new technicians.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Core Technician Duties
Deliver, collect, and install equipment to a high standard
Follow assembly instructions and use smartphone systems
Maintain schedules, follow route guidance, and communicate issues
Provide professional customer service and work flexibly
Installation Responsibilities
Install fixed equipment (handrails, seating, frames)
Assess surfaces, identify hazards, and complete safe, accurate installations
Training & Development
Support onboarding, deliver Centre of Excellence training, and mentor new technicians
Provide feedback and report progress to management
Additional Requirements
Provide Team Leader cover as needed
Uphold Medequip values, work well under pressure, and stay organised
Take ownership of tasks, deliver excellent service, and be flexible with hours
