SALARY: \xc2\xa385,255-100,300 per annum

LOCATION(S): This role can be based in most of our main hubs in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol, Halifax, Leeds or Manchester

Unfortunately, London is NOT an option for this position at this time.

HOURS: 35 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About the team

We\'re the Technology Data Services Team, responsible for supporting the Group with technology-related data to enable effective management of our IT estate.

We sit within the Tooling Services Platform, where our purpose is to provide responsive and insightful, highly-automated, digital, enterprise technology management tooling for the bank \xe2\x80\x93 an area full of opportunity that encourages innovative problem-solving and outside-the-box thinking!

We\'re now recruiting for a Senior Technology Data Insight Lead, that can take this role and make it their own, using their technical and business commercial awareness and leadership strengths to develop the data vision strategy, challenge the status-quo and empower the existing resources to work together and fulfil their potential.

This role would suit someone that is agile, and enjoys working in a changing environment, with a organisation-wide mentality and that is comfortable in interacting, and confidently influencing to the highest levels of the organisation.

Duties and responsibilities

Data Insights

Defining and driving the strategy, vision and roadmap on Insights and Data and utilising your strong business and technology data knowledge.

Effective Relationship Building and Collaborative Delivery and Problem Solving

Working closely with senior collaborators across all platforms and supplier partners to develop and deliver new and exciting technology data solutions.

Working hand-in-hand with our platform SMEs, developers, and analysts to find the best solutions for the outcome required.

Supporting colleagues and projects, whilst building meaningful relationships, influencing across bank-wide platforms and customer groups.

Empowering and Adaptive Leadership and Mentorship Skills

Developing, cultivating, and empowering your people to take ownership of the relevant outcomes and driving a \xe2\x80\x98one team\xe2\x80\x99 ethos by showing willing to jump into the unknown to support your colleagues across the bank.

Owning and prioritising your team\xe2\x80\x99s backlog to deliver the outcomes with the most value to the wider organisation.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED

Data Engineering and Product lifecycle experience

You\'ll have both technical and business leading capabilities, a deep understanding of the full technology data domain. This role will most likely suit you best if you have a hands-on data background and have since moved into a leadership position within this space.

You\'ll have an excellent grasp of product development, agile principles, change methodology and have a track record to lead a cross-discipline team.

Delivery and Solutions-focused

You\'ll be outcome- and solution-focused, ensuring we deliver the right solutions that provide the most value to the organisation.

Influencing and Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills, with previous experience of influencing and instilling confidence in your decision making in senior leadership across all platforms (for both technical and non-technical colleagues).

Coaching and Leadership

Working experience of and passion for empowering leadership and coaching.
