This is an exciting opportunity to help shape, develop a new and aspirational Children's Home in Moseley, Birmingham. The home consists of facilities to support and improve the lives of up to three children aged between 8-18 who may have experienced physical, sexual, emotional abuse and neglect. These children and young people may have been removed from the only family they know, from one foster placement to another, through no fault of their own, and ultimately end up in residential care facilities such as ours. They are likely to be traumatised, and vulnerable to further abuse and exploitation. Would you like to be part of a movement working towards lifelong change for the future of these young people?
Would you like to be part of a movement whereby; The Founding Directors have over 50 years' worth of experience in the Health and Social Care sector and have worked directly with children and young people, knowing what works and what genuinely does not. Are you tired of working for large Government/Private organisations that are unable to recognise the value in their workforce? Our Founding Directors are keen to invest in their team recognising the need for competitive pay, valuable training, health benefits and a work life balance.
Working from a psychologically informed approach and recognising the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors in nature, working with animals and focusing on the holistic needs of children and young people. We recognise each child's individual strengths in order to support them to achieve positive outcomes and attain their full potential. This could be reuniting the child or young person with their family or supporting their transition to independence.??
