Senior Support Worker

This role calls for excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care planning, and a genuine dedication to creating positive, supportive experiences.
Your Role
Support individuals with everyday activities, encouraging confidence, independence, and self-care
Follow and monitor personalised care plans tailored to each individual's unique needs
Offer consistent emotional support, helping to build resilience and self-esteem
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and professionals to ensure well-rounded, coordinated care
Transport individuals safely to appointments, school, or community activities as required
Keep accurate records of support provided and progress toward care goals
Use IT systems confidently to document, communicate, and contribute to planning
Take part in ongoing training and professional development to continually grow in your role
What We're Looking For
Experience in a childcare or children's support setting is highly desirable
A strong grasp of care plans and the confidence to implement them effectively
Excellent communication skills--both verbal and written
A valid driving licence is preferred for transport duties
Comfort with basic IT applications used for care documentation
A calm, compassionate, and patient approach with a clear commitment to supporting others
