Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Your primary goal will be to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests while delivering prompt and efficient service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Prepare bills, process payments, and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and guest services
- Willingness to assist in the kitchen as needed
- Strong hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
