The Role


We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented

Senior or Assistant Manager

to join our growing

Corporate Tax

team in Liverpool. In this client-facing role, you'll lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a varied portfolio, helping businesses navigate complex tax challenges while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to our exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Managing the delivery of day-to-day corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring technical accuracy and submission in line with HMRC deadlines. Supporting and mentoring junior team members to develop their tax skills and ensure high-quality client deliverables. Providing clients with timely and relevant tax advice, including on matters such as group relief, capital allowances, and loss utilisation. Liaising with HMRC on client matters, managing enquiries and correspondence effectively. Identifying opportunities for tax planning and working closely with senior colleagues to develop solutions. Accurately recording chargeable time and ensuring optimal recovery of billable hours. Planning and managing your workload to meet client expectations and internal review schedules.

Key Requirements:



ACA/ACCA qualified (CTA desirable or working towards). Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance processes. Proven experience in client management and advisory delivery. A collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritise multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software. High standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
