About the Role

Our team here at Internet Media Group are currently seeking a highly organised and dynamic individual to join us! We take pride in delivering an online services marketplace, connecting local service providers with consumers in need of specific services across a wide range of industries. The successful candidate will be central to the operations of the business as Internet Media Group drives its website traffic primarily through paid Google Ads and SEO activity.

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to drive performance marketing campaigns and increase organic rankings, website traffic and leads generated through our website. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting of campaigns to maximise SEO growth and achieve business objectives, with a primary focus on new lead generation activities and sector keyword optimisation.

This role requires a data-driven marketer with a proven track record of delivering results, who can develop high-performing SEO strategies, continuously optimise performance, and report on key metrics.

You will have the opportunity to work across a number of services sector verticals, providing a varied and dynamic role for you to thrive and develop in.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement results-oriented SEO strategies to increase relevant keyword rankings and organic website traffic.

Understanding of our core business goals to align SEO efforts effectively.

Manage end-to-end SEO activities including advanced keyword research, technical SEO, on-page optimisation, competitor analysis and local SEO.

Implement, configure and analyse visitor tracking using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.

Develop and implement effective link acquisition and SEO content strategies in collaboration with our in-house Digital Marketing Assistant.

Provide SEO guidance and planning for website migrations or international expansion.

Generate and present monthly performance reports and quarterly strategy reviews to highlight the impact of SEO work and next steps.

Collaborate closely with the Paid Ads and Sales Team to identify sector opportunities and increase online presence.

Write detailed briefs on key metric performance and strategy.

About You

What we need from you

1-2 years SEO experience.

Proficiency with a range of SEO tools including Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Trends, Screaming Frog, etc.

Experience implementing SEO optimisations using popular CMS platforms, such as WordPress, Shopify, etc.

Experience using Google Docs, Google Sheets and Airtable.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (preferable).

Awareness of conversion rate optimisation best practices.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple sectors and projects.

Analytical, problem-solving mindset.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Ability to take initiative and prioritise actions to achieve the best outcome for the business.

Results-oriented, process-driven approach with the confidence to contribute towards improving processes over time.

Take full responsibility for delivering on your commitments, ensuring your work is seen through to completion with end-to-end accountability.

The desire to keep up to date on SEO news and algorithm updates to ensure continuous improvement in performance.

Comfortable engaging with video communication tools to share visual content, such as Loom for screen recordings and Google Meet for video calls.
