Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SEO Executive to join our small digital marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing organic visibility, traffic and revenue for our suite of E-Commerce Stores and brand portfolio of mid to high end bathroom fittings and fixtures. You will work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager to own and develop the content, manage our social media, support technical audits and run digital PR / Link Building campaigns that earn high quality coverage and authority.

Business Overview



UK Bathroom Store is an established ecommerce retailer of bathrooms which is now over 19 years old. We have a strong, friendly company culture and ethos and have carved out a niche for ourselves in a very competitive industry. With the help of our sister showroom, we have built an enviable reputation both in the local area and across the industry.

Having experienced steady growth for several years we recently underwent a major re-platforming exercise and are looking to utilise this to push for significant growth. We have developed three distinct websites, utilise marketplaces and have our own inhouse brand. It's therefore a very exciting time to join us, the right person can make a huge impact to our future

We are based on the White Lund estate in Morecambe.

Job Role



The SEO Executive will work closely as part of a small, well integrated team, reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and Managing Director.

Contribute to the overall SEO strategy:

As a small team, everyone contributes to all aspects of our business, your input to the SEO strategy as a whole will be invaluable.

Digital PR and Link Building:

Develop stories, product angles, expert commentary, build media lists, contact publishers, manage outreach and secure high quality, high authority, relevant links.

Competitor Analysis:

Monitor and report on competitor activity, failures and successes. Identify keyword gaps and make recommendations.

On page optimisation:

Create engaging, high quality on page content, write titles, meta data and create a high-quality internal linking structure.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Analyse performance of our SEO campaign, create regular reports for both the internal team and the board. Make recommendations and adjust the strategy as required.

The Candidate



Whilst the below is our ideal skill set, we will consider applications from candidates that don't have some of the below experience if they can demonstrate an aptitude, desire and enthusiasm to learn. Feel free to contact me before applying if you would like more details.

1 Year+ SEO experience, with in house or agency.

Take great pride in the content they create, we want your standards to be as high as ours.

Experience in link building campaigns.

Possess excellent IT and Spreadsheet skills.

Have experience of using an SEO tool such as AHREFS.

Excellent communication and team skills.
