SEO Executive

to support the delivery of organic search activity across a range of client accounts.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in SEO who wants hands-on experience, ongoing development, and the opportunity to grow within a specialist agency while contributing to real, measurable client results.

The Role



As an SEO Executive, you'll support the implementation of SEO strategies designed to improve search visibility, rankings, and organic performance. You'll work closely with experienced SEO specialists, content writers, and developers to ensure best practices are applied across websites and content.

This is a practical, detail-focused role where you'll build strong foundations in SEO while developing your technical, analytical, and content optimisation skills.

Key Responsibilities



SEO & On-Page Optimisation



Support the delivery of SEO strategies to improve organic search performance Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis Optimise on-page elements including meta data, headings, internal linking, and images Assist with content optimisation to ensure SEO best practices are followed

Technical SEO & Website Support



Assist with website audits to identify technical SEO issues Work with development teams to help implement SEO recommendations Support performance, usability, and crawlability improvements

Reporting & Analysis



Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and performance metrics Support reporting and insights using SEO and analytics tools Help translate data into clear recommendations for clients and internal teams

Local & Ecommerce SEO



Support the management of Google Business Profiles Assist with monitoring Google Merchant Centre feeds and visibility

Collaboration & Development



Work closely with content, development, and paid media teams Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices Contribute ideas to improve processes, content, and performance

What Your Typical Day Might Look Like



Reviewing keyword rankings and organic performance dashboards Researching keywords and search intent for new or existing content Updating meta titles, descriptions, and on-page content Assisting with website audits and technical checks Collaborating with content and development teams on SEO improvements Preparing insights and notes for client reports Keeping up to date with SEO updates and industry trends

What We're Looking For



Essential



Strong interest in SEO and organic search performance Good written communication and attention to detail Understanding of SEO fundamentals (keywords, on-page optimisation, search intent) Organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple tasks Confident working with CMS platforms such as WordPress Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data Good visual awareness and an eye for well-presented, user-friendly web content

Nice to Have



Relevant degree or qualification (marketing, communications, or similar) Basic experience with analytics tools (GA4 or similar) Some experience writing or optimising online content
