The Family Chemist is seeking a performance-driven and highly analytical
SEO & Paid Ads Executive
to join our growing marketing team. You will take full ownership of our
SEO strategy
as well as plan, execute, and optimise
paid advertising campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok
, and other platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on using data to drive results, understands the nuances of different ad platforms, and wants to play a key role in the growth of one of the UK's most dynamic online pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this hybrid role will be split between
search engine optimisation
and managing
paid advertising campaigns
across multiple platforms.
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Lead the full SEO strategy using tools like
Google Analytics
,
SEMrush
, and
Google Search Console
.
Conduct
technical audits
,
keyword research
,
on-page optimisation
, and
backlink analysis
.
Collaborate with the content team to optimise new and existing content for search performance.
Monitor SEO performance and traffic growth, reporting key metrics weekly.
Stay on top of Google algorithm updates and competitive activity.
Paid Advertising (Paid Ads)
Create, manage, and optimise
Google Ads campaigns
(Search, Display, Performance Max).
Run and refine
Meta Ads campaigns
across
Facebook and Instagram
including A/B testing of creatives, targeting, and landing pages.
Build and manage engaging
TikTok Ads
with strong hooks, CTAs, and tailored messaging for younger audiences.
Research audiences, trends, and interests to develop high-performing, platform-specific ad campaigns.
Work closely with design and content teams to produce creative assets (copy and visuals).
Manage ad budgets to maximise ROAS and conversion volume while maintaining CPA targets.
Provide regular reporting on impressions, clicks, CPC, CTR, ROAS, conversions and more.
Continuously test and learn across platforms to refine campaigns based on data and insights.
Requirements
2-3 years' experience running
SEO and paid advertising campaigns
, ideally in e-commerce or digital health.
Demonstrated success managing
Google Ads
,
Meta Business Suite (Facebook/Instagram)
, and
TikTok Ads
.
Strong understanding of
keyword intent
,
funnel strategy
, and
conversion tracking
.
Familiar with Google Analytics, SEMrush, and keyword planning tools.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus for SEO implementation.
Ability to create compelling ad copy and guide visual asset creation.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
A degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred but not essential.
Prior experience in
healthcare, wellness, or pharmacy sectors
is advantageous but not essential.
