Direct Building Products is the UK's premier distributor of render materials, ancillary products, and rendering machinery with over 20 years of in the industry looking to build on last years 12 million pound turnover, we are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to drive traffic and user acquisition through PPC and SEO.
Role Overview:
As the Digital Marketing Specialist (PPC and SEO), you will be responsible for driving traffic and conversions to Direct Buildings websites , Ebay , Amazon storefronts through paid search campaigns (e.g., Google Ads) and organic search optimisation. You will have full autonomy and responsibility for increasing sales and profitability while been given the time and Marketing budget to achieve the required results.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute PPC campaigns (e.g., Google Ads) targeting keywords like "Buy Render" and "Render machines" to drive immediate traffic and sign-ups.
Create compelling ad copy and optimise landing pages to maximise click-through and conversion rates.
Implement retargeting campaigns to re-engage visitors who don't convert.
Conduct keyword research and optimise Direct Building Products website for SEO, including on-page elements (meta tags, headers) and content structure.
Track and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics , reporting weekly to the Directors.
Optimise campaigns based on data (e.g., adjust bids, refine keywords) to improve metrics like cost per acquisition and organic traffic growth.
Ensure landing pages and platform features support SEO and PPC goals.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in PPC and SEO, ideally in tech startups or e-commerce/marketplace platforms.
Proven success managing Google Ads campaigns and optimising websites for organic search.
Proficiency in tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimise campaign performance.
Ability to create compelling ad copy and understand landing page optimisation.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
