Job Title: SEO Specialist

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Salary: 30,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Job Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to develop and implement effective search engine optimisation strategies. You will play a key role in improving our organic search visibility, increasing web traffic, and enhancing our online presence across key platforms. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

o Plan, develop, and execute SEO strategies across websites and digital platforms

o Perform regular keyword research and identify content opportunities

o Optimise on-page elements including meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking

o Conduct regular SEO audits and implement technical improvements

o Monitor and report on website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search.

o Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams

o Stay current with industry trends, algorithm changes, and SEO best practices

o Build backlinks through ethical and strategic link-building initiatives

o Analyse competitor performance and implement tactics to improve rankings

o Recommend and implement conversion rate optimisation (CRO) improvements

Requirements:

o Proven experience in a similar SEO role (agency or in-house)

o Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors

o Proficiency in SEO tools e.g CRM, Outlook Microsoft Word & Excel

o Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

o Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

o Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field

o Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications

o Experience with local SEO and international SEO (if applicable)
