Job Overview:
As an SEO & Website Specialist at Turf World, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our SEO strategy, driving organic traffic to our website, and optimizing our digital presence. You'll also play a key role in managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing. Your primary goal will be to enhance our visibility, improve search rankings, and increase conversions, ultimately helping the business attract more qualified leads and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Implementation:
Keyword Research:
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing content for organic search.
On-Page SEO:
Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to improve rankings across search engines.
Technical SEO:
Collaborate with the team to ensure the website is optimized for search engines (site speed, mobile responsiveness, schema mark up, etc.).
Content Optimization:
Work closely with the content team to improve existing content and create new SEO-friendly articles, blogs, product descriptions, and landing pages.
Link Building:
Develop and execute a white-hat link-building strategy to increase domain authority and improve rankings.
SEO Audits:
Regularly perform SEO audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management:
PPC Campaigns:
Manage paid search (Google Ads) and display advertising campaigns to increase visibility and drive qualified traffic.
Social Media Marketing:
Manage and grow Turf World's presence across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), creating engaging content to promote products and services.
Email Marketing:
Plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
Content Marketing:
Develop and implement content strategies across the website, blog, and social media to engage customers and generate traffic.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
Analyse user behaviour on the website and implement strategies to improve conversion rates (A/B testing, user journey analysis, etc.).
Analytics & Reporting:
Performance Monitoring:
Regularly analyse website traffic, keyword rankings, and campaign performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other digital marketing tools.
Data-Driven Decisions:
Provide regular performance reports and insights to the marketing team, making recommendations based on data analysis.
Competitor Analysis:
Monitor and report on competitor performance, identifying areas where Turf World can gain a competitive advantage.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience
in SEO and digital marketing, with a focus on driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.
Solid understanding
of SEO best practices, Google algorithms, and the latest trends in search marketing.
Experience with
SEO tools
(e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
Experience managing
PPC campaigns
(Google Ads, Bing Ads) and social media platforms.
Strong writing skills
with the ability to create engaging, SEO-friendly content.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
is a plus, or experience working closely with developers on website optimization projects.
Understanding of the landscaping or turf industry
(preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in using marketing platforms such as
Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar tools
