Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating excellent guest service skills while efficiently managing time and tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. A passion for the kitchen environment and an understanding of restaurant operations is advantageous. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
