Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables after guests leave. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who can assist colleagues as needed and contribute positively to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour
