Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience through attentive service and culinary knowledge.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing procedures are followed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A background in culinary arts or food preparation is beneficial but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00-17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
