Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our small friendly team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that may arise. Handle payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.

Skills

Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tables and tasks during busy periods. Culinary knowledge is advantageous for understanding menu items and assisting in food preparation. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
This is a seasonal position until October

We are looking to cover holidays and busy periods. The hours will be from 10am to 3.30pm. Depending on whose holiday needs covering it could be either weekday or weekend days. We are. It will probably be two or three days a week. So about 16 hours.

The hourly rate advertised is dependant on age.

Please note that this position is in Horning so you would need to get to and from Horning for your shifts so please don't apply if it is to far for you.
