Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction. Assist in food preparation as needed, following all safety regulations. Perform basic math calculations for order totals and payments. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is beneficial. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
