Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Installation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing AMR (Automatic Meter Reading ) systems across various sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise a broad skill set, and contribute to the optimisation of client operations. The Engineer will be expected to deliver exceptional technical support, ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and troubleshoot AMR equipment (training provided) Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on client equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to perform repairs and modifications. Liaise with clients to understand system requirements and provide technical advice on system upgrades or modifications. Document service activities and report on system performance post-intervention.

Skills

Strong understanding of computer networking principles and protocols. Mechanical knowledge with experience in using hand tools and power tools for assembly or repair tasks. Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Electrical experience or qualifications would be beneficial Self motivated Interest or experience in Energy/ Carbon Management Experience in construction or AMR/ BMS Systems is advantageous but not essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
