Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high standard of service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, and the ability to maintain the vehicle in good working order.

Responsibilities

Safely drive the bus along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers during transit. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding stops, delays, and any changes in route. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to ensure timely repairs. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from the bus as necessary. Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior for passenger comfort.

Skills

Proven experience as a bus driver is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while following schedules.
