Stone Marine Services was founded in 1999 and now operates from three strategic locations; the UK, South Africa, and Namibia. With a varied and diverse service portfolio, Stone Marine provides essential maintenance to vessel owners and operators across the world.
We are currently looking for a Service Coordinator to join the team managing all aspects of service coordination from enquiry to job completion. This role operates in a high volume, fast paced environment and would suit someone who has meticulous organisation skills and attention to detail.
Role and responsibilities
Responsible for the general organisation of service jobs/spare parts requests from enquiry to completion.
Manage all customer communication effectively using the systems provided ensuring all enquiries are actioned in a timely manner.
Correspond with suppliers to understand pricing and lead times.
Provide customer quotations, supplier POs and order acknowledgement.
Organise deliveries of goods & spares to customers, process deliveries from suppliers and deal with the necessary paperwork including any customs documentation.
Communicate regularly with both customers and suppliers to ensure best in class customer service.
Produce customer invoicing sheets to accounts and sign off draft invoices
Arrange service engineer transportation, visas and accommodation.
Ensuring all Quality Procedures are adhered to and promote the requirements of the current Quality Management system.
Ensure all engineering paperwork is received in a timely manner.
Other adhoc duties daily as requested by the management team.

Must be able to work with other employees willingly and in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
