Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and ready to play a key role in supporting one of the world's leading universities? The University of St Andrews is seeking to appoint a dynamic Service Desk Assistant to join our busy and friendly Estates Service Desk team.



In this role, you will be the first point of contact for a wide range of enquiries, supporting the smooth running of Estates' computerised management systems and providing vital administrative support. You'll work with colleagues across the University, contractors, and trades staff, ensuring requests are managed efficiently and service standards remain high.


As a visible member of the Estates service, this role will suit an individual seeking to join a collaborative and people-focused team. You will ideally have experience or enjoy the opportunity to work autonomously and across multiple priorities.

What we're looking for




SVQ Level III/HNC or equivalent in a business-related discipline. At least three years' experience in a busy office environment. Excellent IT and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. A flexible, team-oriented approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of property services or estates functions would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
