Roast & Ground is a trusted partner to workplaces, providing premium coffee solutions and exceptional service. We're looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding technical support and customer satisfaction.

The Role



As a Service Engineer, you'll install, service, repair, and maintain bean-to-cup coffee machines, traditional coffee machines, water taps, and water dispense equipment. While most work is within London and Greater London, occasional travel outside this area is required.

Key Responsibilities



Breakdowns:

Assist the Service Desk with remote technical advice to resolve issues.

Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair breakdowns, ensuring SLAs are met.

Trials & Installations:

Support the sales team with demonstrations, tastings, and trials.

Conduct site checks, set up, and install new coffee and water equipment.

Train customers on using and maintaining their machines.

Servicing & Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance, filter changes, and drink quality audits.

Minimise future breakdowns with preventative maintenance.

Conduct advanced fault-finding at our HQ in Chessington when required.

On-Going Responsibilities:

Share feedback, market intelligence, and suggestions to improve service.

Maintain tools and equipment and participate in stock checks.

Skills & Experience Required



Proven experience servicing and repairing premium bean-to-cup coffee machines (e.g., Rex-Royal, Franke, WMF, Jura) and water taps (e.g., Billi, Borg & Overstrom, Brita).

Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Experienced in the London workplace sector.

Full, clean UK driving license.
