Wallgate is a market leader in a niche sector with sustained growth across the company, we are seeking a Service Engineer to join the business, primarily for the southern region of the country but not limited to.
Day to day activity includes servicing & maintaining Wallgate's range of automatic hand wash dryers and associated sanitaryware under service contract, providing a rapid response to warranty works and assisting with site-based commissioning projects when required.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for our clients' equipment and systems. Responsibilities
Conduct on-site inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of client equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Install, commission, and test new systems or machinery according to company standards.
Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues promptly and efficiently, minimising downtime.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, including reports on repairs, parts used, and recommendations for future improvements.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar technical role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems relevant to our industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately under pressure.
Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly to clients and team members.
Relevant technical qualifications such as IET Wiring Regulation, BS 7671, 18th Addition.
Ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Training
Technical, Quality and Health and Safety training will be carried out as part of the induction. External training will be provided as and when required depending on the attributes of the successful candidate.
An enhanced DBS check will be conducted upon acceptance of this job role.
