Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Pressurisation and Boosted Water Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and installing equipment within various facilities, ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime. Your technical expertise will support our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction across our diverse client base. The right candidate will be open to developmental learning opportunities.
Duties
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Pressurisation Units, Booster Units, Expansion Vessels, Controls, Inverters, Pumps, Pipework & RPZ Valves (preferred)
Troubleshoot issues related to all the above.
Carry out work within the confines of the PSSR 2000 Regulations and SFG20, in-line with our Working Method to ensure consistency across our engineering team; in line with the Statutory Maintenance, we provide.
Utilise our PressBoost App to document work reports, maintenance history, and asset status.
Collaborate with all members of our team to always ensure excellent customer service.
Occasional working away.
On-call rota.
Overtime opportunities.
Skills
Mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance and/or manufacturing environments (Level 3 NVQ or Equivalent - preferred)
Proficiency with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, single & three phase supplies, controls work (Level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ or Equivalent - preferred)
We are looking for a multi-skilled engineer, we have listed electro and mechanical above as we are interested in both, therefore, if you fit one but not the other still apply so we can consider your application.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures effectively and reach out for support from the engineering team for collaboration as required.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English
Flexibility and a can-do attitude.
Desire to work as part of a team and work as a collective.
