Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients installing, servicing and repairing STP's and similar wastewater systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background.

Responsibilities



Install, maintain, and repair pumps, filtration systems, treatment units, and pipework (clean and wastewater) Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Provide on-site support to clients, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve service processes. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed. Advise clients on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to our services.

Requirements



Mechanical Engineering Qualification (required) A strong mechanical background (pump, pipework, filtration or control panel experience preferred) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems; experience in servicing machinery is advantageous. A full, clean UK driving licence and awareness of Health & Safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 40,000.00-42,000.00 per year
