Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 08:30am - 16:00pm (39.00 Hours Per Week)

About the Role
We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our busy workshop team, working primarily in-house with occasional site/field work. You will be involved in the repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of marine and industrial driveline equipment, including transmissions, torque converters, axles and associated products.
This is a great opportunity to broaden your mechanical experience within specialist driveline applications, backed by strong brands and an international group.
Key Responsibilities
Strip, examine, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the workshop as directed by the Workshop Manager/Foreman.
Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing at customer premises or other sites when required.
Work on a wide range of marine and off-highway driveline systems and components.
Adhere to all company working practices, safety standards and reporting procedures.
Complete all required job documentation and any other tasks as assigned.
Competencies & Experience
Recognised qualification or proven industry experience in mechanical engineering.
Comprehensive engineering knowledge and strong awareness of safety requirements.
Sound knowledge of general engineering equipment service and repair; driveline experience is an advantage.
Competent in using measuring equipment.
Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems beneficial.
Full driving licence.
Ability to use computer programs for works management and report writing.
