Are you passionate about empowering people with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives? At Real Life Options, we have an exciting opportunity for a Service Lead to join our team in Swadlincote.


You will play a key role in the assessment of the service user and development of a Person Centred Plan, facilitating participation of all workers in implementation of the agreed plan.

What You'll Be Doing




Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you'll:


Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple services Support individuals to achieve personal goals and live valued lives in their community Supervise staff, complete rotas, and provide induction as well as ongoing coaching and guidance Attend and contribute to service user reviews and team meetings Manage and update support plans and risk assessments Complete audits (medication, finances, health and safety) Ensure safeguarding and quality standards are met Deliver hands-on support when needed, covering shifts including evenings and weekends Contribute to effective budgetary management of the service
You'll split your time approximately

80% on-shift and 20% on administrative tasks

- with flexibility to adapt as service needs change.


You will need to be flexible and able to work various shift patterns including evenings, weekends and also cover sleepovers

About You




We're looking for someone who is passionate, committed, and ready to lead by example. Ideally, you'll bring:


? A Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (essential)

? Experience leading or mentoring a team (desirable)

? A valid driver's licence (desirable)

? A person-centred approach to care

? A solid understanding of learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
