We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all measuring and testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and functioning accurately, all sensors are installed and working correctly, and all equipment is serviced on time. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to lead projects and supervise team members effectively. The Engineer will also engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities
Perform calibration of various measuring instruments and testing equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of calibration activities and results, including documentation of any discrepancies or issues encountered.
Develop and implement calibration procedures, ensuring adherence to quality assurance protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to logic controllers and other electronic systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and quality assurance initiatives.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Review schematics and technical drawings to understand equipment specifications and requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
Skills
Strong electrical knowledge, with the ability to work on various electrical systems and components.
Mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with mechanical systems relevant to calibration processes.
Leadership skills, with experience in supervising teams or projects effectively.
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly in English with clients and team members alike.
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation related to calibration activities.
Experience with welding techniques is a plus, enhancing the ability to perform necessary repairs on equipment as required.
Strong logical reasoning skills, enabling effective troubleshooting of complex systems.
