We're looking for a Service & Maintenance Coordinator to take a key role in Austin Heating & Cooling, supporting our expanding service and maintenance portfolio. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and being at the heart of a busy engineering branch, this is the perfect opportunity.

This role is primarily office-based at our Ingham location (3 Woodside Business Park, Thetford Road, Ingham, IP31 1NR), with occasional customer site visits.

What You'll Be Doing

In this pivotal position, you will be the driving force behind our service and maintenance operations, ensuring customers receive a first-class experience and our engineering teams are set up for success. The role requires flexibility and will include:

Planning and scheduling service, maintenance, and installation work alongside the Branch Manager and project team. Handling incoming customer calls, programming maintenance visits, and moving jobs forward efficiently. Raising and managing jobs in Clik / Joblogic to keep operations smooth and organised. Procuring equipment, materials, and sub-contractors - from placing orders to tracking deliveries. Managing returns, equipment checks, and compliance documentation. Contacting customers to arrange visits, renew maintenance contracts, and strengthen relationships. Producing and following up on quotations to support service and maintenance activities. Spotting opportunities to grow our business with existing and new customers, this could include including occasional site visits. Ensuring sales opportunities are fully captured and providing feedback to the Branch Manager. Upholding high health & safety standards and contributing to safe working practices.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic. A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner. Skilled at managing a varied workload and juggling multiple tasks. Comfortable using computerised office systems and IT tools. Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities. Able to build rapport quickly and maintain excellent client relationships. Happy working in a target-driven environment and on their own initiative. A team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment. In possession of a full clean UK driving licence.
