Registered Service Manager - Lead with Purpose

About the Role





Are you a passionate and experienced leader in social care, ready to make a meaningful impact? Archway is seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service, ensuring excellence in care, staff development, and service delivery. This is a pivotal leadership role where your expertise will shape lives and inspire teams.


Your Mission




Champion Archway's values, vision, and policies in all aspects of service delivery and external collaboration. Drive operational excellence, ensuring services are safe, person-centred, and empowering. Lead with integrity, compassion, and strategic foresight.

Budget & Resource Leadership




Take ownership of service budgets including staffing, amenities, supplies, and maintenance. Ensure financial accountability and resource efficiency across all service areas.

People Leadership




Inspire, manage, and develop a high-performing team, including permanent, relief, and student workers. Lead recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and continuous professional development. Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and growth.

What You Bring




A recognised qualification for Registered Managers as defined by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) Proven experience in managing social or community care services. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities




Build and maintain an effective, motivated team. Promote best practices in care and support for service users and their families. Ensure environments are nurturing, safe, and promote independence. Develop and oversee personalised support plans. Collaborate with families, professionals, and community partners. Manage service administration, medication protocols, and health & safety. Lead service evaluations and contribute to strategic planning. Maintain facilities and equipment to high standards. Be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service.

Archway colleagues across all levels Service users and their families External agencies and professionals Medical teams and community stakeholders

Successful candidates must complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Checks, including Disclosure Scotland, Right to Work in the UK and References.
