The Service Manager is part of the senior management team, operationally responsible and accountable for the Mental Health Crisis Intervention Service and the teams which sit within this service.
As part of the management team, the post-holder is responsible for managing all aspects of the services ensuring that the service areas with which they are aligned meet operational and quality objectives and targets.
The Service Manager in conjunction with the management team will lead on the planning and delivery of service targets and objectives and actively monitor delivery throughout the year, coordinating resources across teams or service areas as necessary.
Responsible for the development and delivery of high standard clinical services by providing effective leadership and management to specified services and teams.
To work in partnership with Principle Therapists and professional leads supporting clinical practice and service development.
To demonstrate advanced management skills and provide support and advice to service users, carers, staff, managers and other agencies, appropriate to their lead area.
