Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Supported Living Services in Haverhill and Glemsford. This is on a permanent part time basis (30 hours per week). You will be part of our small friendly team based from our offices in Bury St Edmunds. You will not hold the registration for the services but will be responsible for the day to day operation of the services. Your role will include ensuring your services meet regulatory standards and provide the best quality of life for the people who live there.

Ideally we are seeking a candidate who can work over 4 days. We are a flexible employer and we can plan your working days to suit you - although we would expect a significant proportion to be within the hours of 9-5 so that you are able to liaise with key people linked to the services e.g. GPs, social work teams, specialist health providers.

Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you\'ll be accountable for the people management and development across the service teams. This is a key role in guaranteeing the quality of our service delivery and ensuring that we are always improving. As our lead contact in this area and you will be self-motivated and determined, you should have a passion for positive change and the confidence to make difficult decisions under pressure.
