Due to significant company growth, we are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our installation and service administration team.

The Role



This is a hands-on, office-based leadership role where you will be responsible for the entire post-sale customer journey. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will lead our 3-person administrative team and act as the central link between our customers, our field-based installation teams (both in-house and subcontractors), and our suppliers.

You will be responsible for ensuring every project is scheduled efficiently, all materials are procured and delivered on time, and our clients receive exceptional service.

Core Responsibilities



Lead, mentor, and manage our 3-person administrative team, overseeing all admin tasks associated with project coordination and customer service. Plan, schedule, and allocate all installation and service work, coordinating directly with clients, in-house engineers, and subcontractors. Manage all project-related procurement and purchasing, ensuring all materials (panels, batteries, inverters, etc.) are on-site and correct beforethe installation team arrives. Act as the main point of contact for any escalated client queries or technical issues during the installation phase, resolving problems quickly and professionally. Build and maintain strong relationships with our key suppliers and subcontractors. Work with the Operations Manager to develop and refine our operational processes, using our job management software to improve workflow, record keeping, and efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate: Skills & Qualifications



Essential (Must-Haves):



Proven experience in a high-volume scheduling, logistics, or service coordination role within a trades-based business. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role, with a proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously. High-level digital literacy and proficiency with CRM & software e.g., Payaca, Hubspot & MS Teams Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, suppliers, and trade teams.

Desirable (Nice-to-Haves):



Specific technical knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, or EV charging systems. Experience in a small, fast-growing business environment. Experience with purchasing and supplier negotiation.
