Job Description

Our client who is a major UK charity is looking for a Service Support Engineer, this is an exciting new role. You will be supporting remotely and on sites. You will need to be extremely good at paying attention to detail and planning your own diary. As the Service Support Engineer, you would offer 1st and 2nd line support for all technology related infrastructure for the charity.

Responsibilities: -

\xc2\xb7 Support staff as first point of contact for tickets

\xc2\xb7 Update and maintain the asset database

\xc2\xb7 Be a trouble shooter and engineer to fix IT issues as and when

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with key stakeholders across different departments

\xc2\xb7 Provide 1st and 2nd line support

\xc2\xb7 Opening, closing, moving offices, changes to office layouts, service mobilisations, printer support

\xc2\xb7 IT support for service users support

\xc2\xb7 Deal with Business Relationship Management queries

\xc2\xb7 WIFI installations, configurations and support

\xc2\xb7 Telephony and communication platform support

Skills: -

\xc2\xb7 Strong skills within Windows Server including Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy

\xc2\xb7 Ticketing systems and Asset Management knowledge

\xc2\xb7 Experience of using remote assistance tools

\xc2\xb7 Microsoft Intune

\xc2\xb7 Customer service

\xc2\xb7 Service reporting

\xc2\xb7 Technical understanding

\xc2\xb7 Takes ownership and has initiative

\xc2\xb7 IT problem solving

\xc2\xb7 Able to deal with challenging scenarios
