About the Role



We are seeking an

experienced and hands-on ServiceNow Developer

to join a long-term ServiceNow delivery programme. You will be responsible for building, configuring, integrating, testing and deploying end-to-end ServiceNow capabilities across multiple modules and work packages.
This is a

delivery-focused

role and requires a developer who is confident working

independently

, following best-practice design principles, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet key delivery milestones.

Responsibilities



You will be responsible for end-to-end technical development, including:

Core Platform & Module Development



Configure and customise

ITSM

modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog) Build and maintain

CMDB

, CI class modelling and relationships Develop and configure

CSM / Case Management

components and portals Create custom components using

Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, UI Builder, and Service Portal


Scripting & Automation



Develop

Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Notifications

Build

catalog items, record producers, workflow approvals, task automation

Implement

ATF automated test scripts

and regression test routines

Integrations



Build and support integrations using

REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, OAuth, SSO/SAML

Work with Azure AD/LDAP, email, third-party APIs and enterprise data sources

Platform Engineering & Delivery



Support instance cloning, upgrades, release cycles and configuration governance Prepare and maintain technical documentation (SDD, TDD, deployment guides) Collaborate with architects, testers, analysts and delivery leads Ensure all work adheres to

ServiceNow and ITIL best-practice


Required Skills & Experience



Proven experience delivering hands-on ServiceNow development (minimum

2-4+ years

) Strong knowledge of

ITSM

and at least one additional module (

CMDB, CSM, or App Engine

) Proven ability to write, debug and optimise

JavaScript-based

platform scripts Experience with

REST / SOAP

integrations and data transformations Understanding of

Agile / Scrum / DevOps

delivery workflows Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of allocated backlog items Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret requirements into technical solutions

Desirable



ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) One or more Implementation Specialist (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, App Engine, CMDB) Experience with ATF automation and CI/CD pipeline tooling Experience working in client-facing delivery environments
