Lead a dedicated team across cleaning, maintenance, and security services while making a real impact on customer experience and operational excellence.
Hours: 45 per week, 5 days over 7, occasional weekend shift forming part of the duty manager rota.
As the Services Manager you will be responsible for the entire onsite team consisting of Cleaning, Maintenance and Security services, ensuring the highest of standards are adhered to at all times.
Requirements:
A good understanding and able to demonstrate previous achievements in managing large security, cleaning & maintenance teams
A good understanding of the Retail environment
Know what good looks like
A good understanding of Health and Safety with preferably IOSH Managing Safely qualification
Must be fully PC literate for reporting
Able to communicate at all levels, fostering a culture of inclusion and development
Able to work to budgets and deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and where required allocate tasks and responsibilities to the on-site Management and team to meet customer expectations and ensure a consistently high service delivery
To maintain those high standards by monitoring and auditing the work completed and working with the site manager for any changes for improvement
Recruit and coach the cleaning & waste team to achieve the contracted hours
Effectively communicate daily with the Centre Management Team / tenants, colleagues to resolve issues and build positive working relationships
Maintain budgets for use of all equipment, stock and on rota planning
Check equipment is clean and safe to use
Lead the teams to achieve expectations through inductions, Health and safety training and on the job training
Ensure all Company compliance and documentation is completed and maintained
Drive performance in terms of standards and behaviours across the team
Provide a safe environment for the general public and staff
Accurately report sickness and ensure absence levels are managed correctly
Other duties reasonably expected to deliver an effective and efficient service to the customer
Form part of and Lead the Duty Manager roster for the contract
You must be able to:
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
Maintain communication at all times with your colleagues using site specific communication methods
Maintain and develop working relationships, with Westgrove partners, managers, colleagues, business manager, head office support
Be responsible for H&S across the contract
A valid Security licence and First aid certificate would be advantageous
