Job Overview

The Fifth Trust is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and energetic Session Instructor to join our team. Our students (adults with learning disabilities) engage in a wide variety of activities across a selection of sessions, providing a range of creative, practical, and educational opportunities. Whether it' s learning new skills or making everyday decisions, we support each student in making their own choices to encourage confidence and independence.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct a small group of students through various activity stations, providing tailored support to each individual. Develop and implement new and engaging activities to keep sessions fresh and stimulating. Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters focus, and wellbeing. Monitor each student' s progress, adapting activities to meet their evolving needs and abilities, and celebrate their success. Work collaboratively with staff, families and care teams.

Experience

Patience and empathy, with a genuine passion for working with adults with learning disabilities. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Creativity and enthusiasm in delivering a range of activities. Ability to tailor support to individual needs. Commitment to promoting personal growth and development. Basic IT Skills
