Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is looking to recruit a Registered Psychologist to join the team. This is a sessional role, and hours will depend on the centre's needs.
Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is conveniently situated right in the heart of Canterbury's city centre, offering easy access to all. Our expert team can deliver established outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, addictions and eating disorders. We provide high quality support to adults, adolescents, children and couples, offering rapid access to effective treatment to get you or your loved ones back on track.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Psychologist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
You will also;Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and formulations
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure integrated and holistic care
Support individual or group therapies

What you'll bring to the role

We're looking for someone trained in delivering ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised) assessments to support both our CAMHS and Adult ASC pathways. In this role, you'll work onsite and offer a flexible mix of face-to-face and remote sessions for general psychology referrals, while ADI-R assessments can be carried out fully remotely if you prefer. To join us, you'll need to hold HCPC accreditation or an equivalent qualification.
