Sewing Machinist (part Time Secondment)

Job Description
We require applications for the position of Sewing Machinist (part-time secondment) This is an opportunity to move from your regular role into sewing on a temporary basis, anticipated to be 2 days per week max with hours ad hoc and as needed. Duties will be carried out in addition to your regular role.
Responsibilities
Sewing and manufacturing of garments on flatbed sewing machines. Should have the ability to perform basic machine maintenance, such as cleaning the machine and changing needles and threads. Have a keen eye for detail and use fault finding abilities to ensure all sewn products are completed to the client's specification, before being packed and dispatched. Have the ability to work well under pressure as you will be required to work towards targets and deadlines. To support overtime when the business requires it at busy times. Maximize efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities.
This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.
