Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Prior experience in warehouse environments and sewing is considered advantageous, contributing to versatility within the role. Duties

Operate a range of machining tools and equipment to produce components according to specifications Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machinery to maintain optimal performance Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards Maintain organised work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies used during production Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred Warehouse experience is beneficial, providing familiarity with logistics and stock management Sewing skills are considered an asset, offering additional versatility in handling specialised tasks Basic understanding of technical drawings and measurement tools such as calipers or micrometers Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently with minimal supervision Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: 20,420.00-31,366.63 per year
