Job Purpose
To contribute to the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of products by operating machinery and equipment in strict accordance with approved procedures, technical specifications, and quality standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the consistent delivery of production targets while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the SG8 machine under appropriate supervision, progressively developing toward full independent operation.
Adhere strictly to all work instructions to ensure production targets are achieved and that efficiency, quality, and technical standards are consistently met.
Operate machinery with a focus on optimal output, delivering products of the highest quality while promptly escalating any issues to the relevant management personnel.
Actively minimise material waste in alignment with company standards, and report any deviations or inefficiencies for corrective action.
Conduct all mandatory safety checks on machinery prior to start-up, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
Respond swiftly and appropriately to any machine stoppages or disruptions, and seek technical support when necessary to reduce downtime.
Accurately utilise the PRISM computer system for all relevant production and quality functions.
Ensure correct segregation and disposal of waste materials in line with operational and environmental policies.
Perform thorough and timely quality checks at designated intervals to verify compliance with product specifications.
Complete all required production records, reports, and documentation accurately and within established timelines.
Immediately communicate any material shortages or quality concerns to the Team Leader or Machine Setter.
Carry out comprehensive and precise shift handovers to ensure operational continuity.
Maintain a consistently clean, organised, and safe working area, in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
Work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues, sharing information, and contributing to a positive and productive work culture.
Exhibit flexibility by undertaking additional tasks or responsibilities as required, within the scope of the role and operational needs.

Week 1- Monday-Tuesday DAYS Thursday-Friday NIGHTS
Week 2- Wednesday-Friday DAYS
Week 3- Monday-Wednesday NIGHTS
"Please be advised that this is a newly introduced machine and unit, and additional shifts are being gradually implemented. Consequently, the current schedule is subject to change, including a potential transition from three to four shifts, as well as possible modifications to working hours and days."
