JOB PURPOSE:
The SHEQ & IT Coordinator will provide support and assistance to the Head of SHEQ and the SHEQ Team to co-ordinate the departmental and management system administration, as well as being the Oregon business contact for the Group IT service desk.
MAIN DUTIES :
Work closely with the Head of SHEQ to ensure that relevant SHEQ co-ordinator tasks are dealt with efficiently.
Perform general departmental administrative tasks as and when required to meet the needs of the department - including RAMS issue to sites, H&S folders maintained, sub-contractor records, induction records, site contact/allocation lists, system updates.
Manage and maintain all SHEQ filing systems and databases.
Be the principal point of contact for queries, changes and updates to the Oregon Integrated Management System. Ensure the effective and efficient processing of documents through the company systems.
Be the organisations principal point of contact for IT related issues. Assist with the order and issue of new starter IT kits, setup and test new hardware and mobile devices, work alongside Group IT, attend and assist with Tech bars, support on IOS device issues and updates, arrange replacements as required.
Attend meetings to assist the Head of SHEQ to record minutes of meetings as required.
Assist the Head of SHEQ as required with any other documentation, administration and departmental projects and carry out any other ad-hoc duties to support the company as and when required.
What you'll need?
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Able to demonstrate education to a good standard - preferably to higher education or above.
Extensive practical experience in Admin / IT role.
Excellent telephone skills with a professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers.
Understanding or basic knowledge of health & safety legislation.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and accurately.
ESSENTIAL SKIILLS
Self-motivated and positive attitude.
Highly numerate and literate.
Organised and methodical with good attention to detail.
Excellent working knowledge of IT Hardware as well as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and any other software required.
Good communicator and confident to deal with other members of the team.
Team player who is supportive of colleagues.
Self-discipline, with demonstrably good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of different priorities.
Knowledge of Management systems in particular Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety.
Able and willing work flexibly to 'get the job done'.
