Job Description
Amman Valley Fabrications Ltd specialises in Acoustic Engineering manufacturing, including attenuators, louvres, and related products. We are looking for a motivated and physically fit young person to join our team as a Sheet Metal Learner. This is a hands-on role with on-the-job training.
This position is not an apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
Assist experienced sheet metal workers Measure and mark out metal sheets Cut, bend, and shape metal Assist with assembly and finishing tasks Cut and fit insulation materials as required Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
Requirements
Basic numeracy skills (GCSE Maths grade C or equivalent preferred) Physically fit and able to handle manual work Reliable, punctual, and able to travel to work daily Keen interest in learning sheet metal work Good practical and mechanical aptitude
