Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and the ability to operate press brake machinery effectively. This role involves working with various materials and machines including Amada HFE to produce high-quality components while ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our products.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications. Grind, assemble, and fabricate components as required for production. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards. Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively for various tasks within the fabrication process. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that may arise. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. techniques is not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
